Winners Will Be Announced Opening Day on November 12th

L A M P (Lighting Architecture Movement Project) has announced its top 10 finalists for this year’s third annual international lighting design competition. Judged by some of the world’s top industry design leaders, submissions from around the globe were voted under three categories, including student, emerging and established designers. L A M P’s winners will be announced on Thursday, November 12th, 2015.

L A M P aims to introduce a broader audience to lighting design while promoting and connecting emerging talent to new markets. Each year the competition challenges designers to approach their lamps with the guidance of a theme. This year’s judges made their decisions based on a set evaluation ranging from aesthetics, marketability, innovation, and unique interpretation of this year’s theme: Crystallize.

The top 10 lamps were chosen from over 90 submissions worldwide, from 48 cities and 21 countries. The esteemed panel of judges for 2015 included: Tom Dixon, Michael Anastassiades, Nancy Bendtsen (Inform Interiors), Omer Arbel (Bocci Design), John Patkau (Patkau Architects), Falken Reynolds (Chad Falkenberg, Kelly Reynolds), and the team from ANDLIGHT (Lukas Peet, Caine Heintzman and Matt Davis).
