Justin Penhall started with JSB Lighting back in 2001 after joining the lighting industry only a few years earlier. With a background in the electrical industry, Justin returned to Australia after 5 years of travel determined to stay off the tools.

Justin says “Like most of us in the lighting industry, it was fate that brought me here. No-one leaves school with their heart set on selling lighting for a living. For me this has been a most rewarding experience with many challenges faced. I was very lucky to be asked to join JSB Lighting in 2001 and have enjoyed a great amount of support from my clients and work colleagues along the way. I have had my heart set on the Sales Director Role for some time, though felt I may have to poison my way to the top as both Dudley Hewitt and Ian Cerfontyne appeared to be here for the long haul.

I was very pleased to be offered the role late in 2012 and look forward to the challenges that lay ahead. I am most grateful of the support offered to me in my new role from both clients and colleagues.

This role is not so much about me, but more about the team I lead. I am very proud to be heading up a team of such well educated, motivated and sophisticated guys.

The new role requires a little more travel, so I must also thank my lovely wife Kirsty (Hales) for her support. As they say, behind every good man is a good women…..right?”
